Camp Description

Camp AweSum is a residential summer camp for children on the Autism Spectrum. The camp is located at beautiful Moon Lake, in the majestic Northwoods of St. Germain, Wisconsin.

The 2008 Camp Session is scheduled for June 22 through June 27. Camp AweSum welcomes eight to fifteen year old youths (as of June 1, 2008) who are on the Autism Spectrum for a fun-filled week at camp.

Campers will enjoy swimming, hiking, boating, fishing, crafts and music, fresh air, and bountiful wildlife.

The staff of Camp AweSum will work to support the campers to enjoy camp to the best of their ability. Self esteem will soar at Camp AweSum!

Camp facilities at Moon Beach include modern and clean cabins in a pristine Northwoods atmosphere. Meals are enjoyed in a family –like atmosphere of the Moon Beach dining hall. Camp AweSum is a typical camp experience with all the trimmings; arts & crafts, canoeing, hiking, swimming, fishing, campfires, and bog walks.
